General Room Hire
There are a range of rooms available for hire here at Portishead Youth Centre, with spaces suitable for meetings, fitness classes, clubs or activities. With a choice of the Main Hall, Dance Studio or Nautical room, there is a room for a range of uses with added facilities such as air conditioning and projectors available in some rooms.

Spaces perfect for your party!
THE MAIN HALL
The Main Hall is the largest of our spaces and is very versatile! Perfect for Soft Play style parties (if wanted, use of our toys is included in room hire cost); inflatable parties or as a large open space for parties led by children's entertainers. Use of this space for a 3 hour party slot (30 minutes set up, 2 hours of party time and 30 minutes to clear away) costs £90.
The Main Hall can also host Doodlebug Village role play parties (see below for more details in our special activity parties section)!
DANCE STUDIO & NAUTICAL ROOM
The Dance Studio is ideal for disco themed parties with its built in sound system and automated disco lighting! It is also large enough to include a bouncy castle with plenty of room left for dancing, or an open space for children's entertainers.
The Dance Studio adjoins the Nautical Room - a space for laying out your party food and drinks.
Use of these spaces for a 3 hour party slot (30 minutes set up, 2 hours of party time and 30 minutes to clear away) costs £110.

Holding up to 30 tasty ring doughnuts, our rustic doughnut stand not only looks great, but is also a perfect alternative to party bags - children can choose their own doughnut to take home or enjoy it here!

Handmade with a mix of favourites, our sweet cones are great for all ages and are a perfect alternative to party bags.

INFLATABLES & BOUNCY CASTLES
AW Inflatables have inflatables for every occasion - from small bouncy castles, to inflatables with slides and even 45ft long inflatable obstacle courses!
10ftx12ft castles fit perfectly in our Dance Studio, whereas larger inflatables will need the additional space of the Main Hall.

FACE PAINTING
Face painting is the perfect addition to any party! We work with JoJo's Face Painting and Lipstick, Powder and Paint who bring their creative skills to events around Bristol and North Somerset and are highly talented artists in both face painting and glitter tattoos.

A fun and active party with games and dance move songs, will keep all the children on their toes, and amused by DJ Kool Kids. Parties are tailored to children of all ages, with special attention made to the birthday child!

Special Activity Parties
Are you looking for something a little different for your child's party?
DOODLEBUG VILLAGE ROLE PLAY PARTIES
We work in collaboration with Doodlebug Village to offer role play village parties for children aged 2-4.
Our village includes a number of 'shop-fronts', a fire station, vets, train track and road for children to play out different professions with age appropriate resources to help them get into character!
Your child, and up to 19 friends can be the Postmaster in our Post Office, Stampers; a florist in our flower shop or a Nursery Assistant looking after the babies of the 'village'. Sarah will help to facilitate play, but parents are asked to support their child.

LASER TAG PARTIES
We work with Laser Tag UK to offer action packed parties for up to 20 children, aged 8+
You will have exclusive access to the centre, free use of the pool table, table football and outdoor courts, as well as 1 hour of Laser Tag across the full inside space of the Youth Centre building.
Staff from Laser Tag UK will provide all children with a full safety briefing, before kitting them out with a laser gun and headband. A range of games will be played including all-against-all, the red team against the blue team, and domination with full support from Laser Tag UK available at all times.
